Purpose

 

The microclimate control system is designed to control the air conditioner and heaters in order to maintain normalized microclimate parameters in the driver's cab of an electric locomotive (according to safety standards for railway transport 04-98), both in automatic mode (see table below) and when the temperature is individually set within + 18...28°С.

 

Cabin air temperature, °С

- at outside air temperature from minus 50 to plus 20°С - 22±2
- at outside air temperature from plus 20°С to plus 40°С - 22+0,25 (t _outer -19)
- at outside air temperature above plus 40 °С - not more than 28

The specified temperature is maintained with an accuracy of ±2 °С.
